Follow
the yellow highlight:
From
Albuquerque go north on I-25 and get off at Exit 242 (Bernalillo) to
Highway 550.
Continue north on Highway 550 to Bloomfield
(about 2.5 hours).
In Bloomfield, take a right at the first light
and head east (turns into Highway 64).
Follow 64 through the small town of Blanco.
As you come out of Blanco you will cross the
river (for the second time - first was in Bloomfield).
The turn off for the river (Route 511) is 1.5
miles after the bridge at the bottom of a small hill.
Take a left on 511 and head north through
Turley and Archulate or until you reach the dam (13mi).
