Rib: Red Midge Lace or Midge Rope
Instructions:
  1. Secure thread at head.
  2. Lay lace on top, secure with thread.
  3. Wrap thread back part way down bend.
  4. Wrap thread forward.
  5. Wind V-rib forward (round side up).
  6. Tie off, trim, whip finish, and cement.
Variations: Try different colors of thread and V-rib. Shades of red, orange, pink, and olive work well. One popular variation is the OJ with an orange bead head and orange body.
